THE HUNGRY WILLIAMS - “MOVIN’ ON” MUSIC VIDEO

“The video was a blast to make, and it was so lucky for us that we were able to shoot a large part of it at the Symco Weekender, a classic car and music festival in central Wisconsin,” said lead singer Kelli Gonzalez. “Lots of rootsy bands from all over the country perform there. The classic cars and overall vibe added so much to the video. I do have to admit driving a 19 foot long car is a bit scary but I felt pretty cool doing it.” - Blue Rock Review

JULIEN KOZAK - “HOME IS GONE” MUSIC VIDEO & ONE-TAKE LIVE VIDEOS

Julien's song is all about travel and finding what home means. When he asked if we could shoot during spring I knew I wanted to subtly tie it into bird migration, because it’s an untouched thematic device. We shot on the shore of Lake Michigan and created a video that has a sunny, kinda early 00’s California ‘retro’ vibe.

“Milwaukee singer-songwriter Julien Kozak released a new music video that took a decidedly deconstructed approach. Set in a southeastern Wisconsin barn during a gentle rainfall, Kozak’s “Home Is Gone” music video is delicate, delightful, and a success in its simplicity. The live video was filmed in one take and directed by local videographer (and our resident bird columnist) Kyle Arpke. Throughout the three-and-a-half-minute video, the lens remains fixed on Kozak as he performs his soft, soothing new single and sunlight fights its way into frame through gaps in the barn’s weathered wall.” - Milwaukee Record

DEVIL'S TEETH - "DIAMOND RIO" MUSIC VIDEO

Directed by Kyle Arpke and Jon Hanusa

“the concept is simple, but the spotlight- and performance-based video does an excellent job capturing the song’s energy and illustrating the band’s surf-influenced style—even down to the nautical attire.” - Milwaukee Record

CATALYST

"Catalyst" is a feature film that follows two brothers searching for closure while coping with their parent's divorce. The film screened at festivals worldwide, winning Best Student Film at the Beloit International Film Festival and the Rising Star Award at the Canada International Film Festival, along with other honors and nominations.

“Catalyst is set in what looks like small-town Wisconsin, complete with abandoned railroad tracks overgrown with weeds, and is suffused with Roman Catholic imagery. Along with isolation and social awkwardness is a search for connection and meaning and, perhaps, tolerance and forgiveness.” - Shepherd Express

TIGERNITE - "WITCH" MUSIC VIDEO

Directed by Kyle Arpke and Eric Arsnow (of Ertrök)

Over 3,000 frames of hand manipulated video forming 3 minutes of spooky punk rock!

“The final product is a professional grade video that maintains its intended rough, D.I.Y. look to match the powerful glam rock rendering’s spooky aesthetic.” - Milwaukee Record

PLACES - A SHORT FILM

PLACES is an observational documentary on the city of Lucknow, India. The city, which seemed to be alive 24/7, was an odd contradiction of itself at every corner. The beauty of religion, color, children, and history lives juxtaposed against a jungle of garbage and rubble. The people of Lucknow don't seem to mind this discrepancy. In a country that prides itself on co-existence amongst religions maybe it only makes sense that urbanization and purity can live side by side as well. The film is an Official Selection of the Milwaukee Film Festival.
